Itinerary

  • Day 1

    Upon arrival, meet and transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day to explore China’s historic and vibrant capital city.

  • Day 2

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

    In the morning, you will be picked up from the hotel by your guide.

    Today’s tour begins with the Forbidden City (UNESCO), where the 24 emperors of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties ruled for nearly 500 years (1420-1911). Experience the architectural splendor of the palaces, ceremonial courtyards and private quarters.

    After enjoy a tradition Chinese lunch you will visit the Summer Palace (UNESCO), a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden.

    Idea for leisure time:

    Watch a breathtaking acrobatic show at Tiandi Theater (Optional: USD 45)

  • Day 3

    Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

    In the morning, you will be picked up from the hotel by your guide.

    After about 1-hour driving, you will visit the Mutianyu Great Wall (UNESCO). As China’s most renowned monument, Great Wall is the most spectacular structures ever built by humans and as the only one visible from space used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs.

    After a spot of shopping at Jade City, continue to take a Hutong tour with pedicab ride. The Hutong courtyard, traditional courtyard homes of local Beijing people, is symmetrical and neat inside with room on all four sides.

  • Day 4

    Meals: Breakfast

    In the morning, You will take bullet train to Xi’an then be transferred to your hotel after arriving in Xi’an.

     

     

  • Day 5

    Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

    In the morning, you will be picked up from the hotel by your guide.

    Then explore the Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses (UNESCO), one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in the world. More than 6000 life-sized Terracotta Warriors, archers, infantrymen, horses and bronze chariots silently guarded the tomb of China’s First Emperor for over 2,200 years.

    Later, transfer back to the hotel.

    Idea for leisure time: 

    Enjoy a tasteful Dumpling Banquet followed by an exquisite traditional Tang Dynasty Show (Optional: USD 50)

  • Day 6

    Meals: Breakfast

    Today we go to Shanghai by plane. Transfer to your hotel after arriving at Shanghai airport.

  • Day 7

    Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

    In the morning, you will be picked up from the hotel by your guide.

    Explore the Bund, where stand a number of outstanding European colonial architectures, new skyscrapers and historical buildings in Shanghai.

    The next stop is the Old French Concession & Old Street to take a stroll in Xintiandi Street and Shikumen, which you could know more about old residential Long Tang.

    Afterwards, you will be transferred to the hotel.

    Idea for leisure time:

    You could take a Huangpu River Night Cruise which is the perfect way to enjoy the gorgeous night view of Shanghai. (Optional: USD 60)

  • Day 8

    Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

    Today, we will transfer to visit the most beautiful ancient town in China – Wuzhen. Over more than 1,000 years, Wuzhen has never changed its name, water system or lifestyle. The traditional buildings are still well preserved after crossing so many rough years. Within the town, with a dense network of rivers and wharves, people build their houses along the river and establish markets close to bridges.

    Stone railings and arch bridges, arched gates across the street, imposing dwellings and spacious courtyards, river banks and verandas are well preserved, presenting an original ecological scene of a water town in Jiangnan.

  • Day 9

    Meals: Breakfast

    Today, transfer to the airport and take your flight back home.
